Itinerary
Day 1. Arrive and Welcome to Cairo
Arrive to Cairo International Airport, where Embassy Tours representative will meet you to assist you through Passport control, Custom formalities, and transfer to your luxury hotel on the Nile River. Over Night in Cairo.
Day 2. The Great Pyramids, Sphinx, Egyptian Museum, Citadel, the colorful Khan El Khalili Bazaars
Buffet Breakfast.
This morning, join your expert Egyptologist for an exploration of the Giza Plateau, site of the Great Pyramids, of Cheops, Mycerinus, Chephren, it is the only survivor of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Revel in the opportunity to enter the interior of one of these legendary structures, then view the nearby Great Sphinx and may be ride a camel across the sands of Giza. Enjoy Lunch at a local luxury restaurant.
After Lunch, Visit the Egyptian Museum of antiquities (or the Grand Egyptian Museum, upon its opening), to view its huge collection of 5000 years of art, the largest and most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world, including an exhibit dedicated to the Tutankhamun collection of treasures, and the gold Mask. Explore the ancient city of Cairo, including the Citadel, the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali, and the colorful Khan El Khalili Bazaars. Return to your hotel. This evening will enjoy a Welcome dinner. Overnight in Cairo. Meals: Buffet Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 3. Fly to Aswan, Embark the Nile Cruise, High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk, Majestic Philae Temple, and Aswan Islands
Buffet Breakfast.
Transfer to Cairo Airport for a domestic flight to Aswan. Meet, assist in Aswan airport, pickup, and transfer by your Expert Egyptologist to your Luxury Nile Cruise for Embarkation before Lunch. Enjoy Lunch on board before disembarking to explore the High Dam passing by the Old Dam of Aswan, and site of the Unfinished Obelisk. Ride a motorized boat to Philae Temple on the island of Agilika. A sacred complex dedicated to the goddess Isis that reflects a fusion of three great civilizations, Egyptian, Greek, and Roman. Back on board. Later, Ride Like a Local around the Aswan Islands in a felucca (traditional sailboat) and back on board. Enjoy afternoon tea. Dinner on Board and Enjoy the evening of Nubian show in the lounge bar.Overnight in Aswan. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 4. Optional Tour Abu Simbel Temples of Ramses II and Nefertari and Explore the West and East Banks of the Nile, Sail towards Edfu
Early Morning, Breakfast Basket, and Transfer to Aswan Airport for a domestic flight to Abu Simbel. and discover the commanding twin temples of Ramses II and his wife, Queen Nefertari. The former’s façade is dominated by four 70-foot-tall statues of the pharaoh. Perhaps even more impressive, this entire site was disassembled and moved here to save it from the floodwaters caused by the construction of the Aswan High Dam.
Fly back to Aswan Airport, pickup, and transfer by your Expert Egyptologist to your Luxury Nile Cruise.
Sail to Kom Ombo. Disembark at Kom Ombo and take a short walk along the east edge of the Nile. Visit the Greco-Roman temple dedicated to Haroeris (the sun god) and Sobek (the crocodile god), whom some ancient Egyptians considered the creator of the world. Return on board and Sail to Edfu. Enjoy Lunch on board. Enjoy Afternoon Tea, Disembark at Edfu. Dinner on Board and Enjoy the evening of Galabya party in the lounge bar. Overnight in Edfu.

Day 5. The Temple of Horus, Sail to Luxor, Explore the East Bank of Luxor, Temple of Luxor, and Temple of Karnak
Buffet Breakfast.
Ride a horse carriage to view the Temple of Horus, falcon-headed god of the sky, back on board and Sail to Luxor. Lunch on board. Enjoy afternoon Tea.
Disembark exploring by visiting the striking Temple of Luxor, View the three large statues of Ramses II along the front of the temple pylons, the Courtyard of Ramses II and the Colonnade of Amenhotep III, with its 50-foot-high columns. Walk in their shadows, as visitors have done since antiquity, and ponder the astonishing feats of engineering it took to create them.
Transfer to explore the Temple of Karnak, where generations of pharaohs wished to record their names, Walk through the Great Hypostyle Hall, strolling among its expertly aligned columns, which soar 80 feet high. Return on board. Enjoy a gala Dinner followed by a Belly dancer and Tannoura show in the lounge bar. Overnight in Luxor. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 6. Disembarkation, Explore the West bank, and fly to Cairo

Explore the west bank of the Nile River and the Necropolis of Thebes and view the Colossi of Memnon. Continue to the architecturally stunning Temple of Hatshepsut, ancient Egypt’s first female pharaoh and regarded today as one of its most successful. Carry on to the Valley of the Kings, burial ground of the pharaohs and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For a period of 500 years beginning in the 16th century BC, tombs were built along this valley for pharaohs and nobles, including that of “the boy king,” Tutankhamun, Enter the tomb of Tutankhamun – found in 1922 by British archaeologist and Egyptologist Howard Carter – to discover the secrets of this storied chamber. Next, descend into the beautifully decorated tomb of Seti I, the father of Ramses II, one of the best-preserved tombs in the valley. Transfer to Luxor Airport for a domestic flight to Cairo. pickup, and transfer by your Expert Representative to your Luxury Hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
