Itinerary
Day 1. Arrive and Welcome to Cairo
Arrive to Cairo International Airport, where Embassy Tours representative will meet you to assist you through Passport control, Custom formalities, and transfer to your luxury hotel on the Nile River. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2. Egyptian Museum, Citadel, the colorful Khan El Khalili Bazaars.
Buffet Breakfast.
This morning, join your expert Egyptologist for an exploration of the Egyptian Museum of antiquities (or the Grand Egyptian Museum, upon its opening), to view its huge collection of 5000 years of art, the largest and most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world, including an exhibit dedicated to theTutankhamun collection of treasures, and the gold Mask. Enjoy Lunch at a local luxury restaurant. After Lunch, Explore the ancient city of Cairo, including the Citadel, the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali, and the colorful Khan El Khalili Bazaars. Return to your hotel.This evening will enjoy a Welcome dinner. Overnight in Cairo. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 3. The Great Pyramids, Sphinx, and ride a Camel
Buffet Breakfast.
After Breakfast, join your expert Egyptologist for an exploration of the Giza Plateau, site of the Great Pyramids, of Cheops, Mycerinus, Chephren, it is the only survivor of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Revel in the opportunity to enter the interior of one of these legendary structures, then view the nearby Great Sphinx and ride a camel across the sands of Giza. Enjoy Lunch at a local luxury restaurant. After Lunch, Return to your Hotel. Evening at leisure or attend an Optional Sound and Light show at Sphinx or Dinner with Belle Dance show. Overnight in Cairo. Meals: Breakfast and Lunch.
Day 4. Fly to Luxor, Nile Cruise Embarkation, Temple of Luxor and Temple of Karnak
Buffet Breakfast.
Transfer to Cairo Airport for a domestic flight to Luxor. Meet and assist in Luxor airport, pickup, and transfer by your Expert Egyptologist to your Luxury Nile Cruise for Embarkation before Lunch. Enjoy Lunch on board. Disembark exploring by visiting the striking Temple of Luxor, View the three large statues of Ramses II along the front of the temple pylons, the Courtyard of Ramses II and the Colonnade of Amenhotep III, with its 50-foot-high columns. Walk in their shadows, as visitors have done since antiquity, and ponder the astonishing feats of engineering it took to create them.
Transfer to explore the Temple of Karnak, where generations of pharaohs wished to record their names, walk through the Great Hypostyle Hall, strolling among its expertly aligned columns, which soar 80 feet high. Return on board. Enjoy Afternoon Tea. Enjoy a luxury a La carte Dinner and then enjoy Entertainment shows by Tannoura and Belly dancer show in the lounge bar. Overnight in Luxor. Day 5. Explore the West Bank of the Nile, Sail towards Edfu
Buffet Breakfast.
Journey once more to Explore the west bank of the Nile River and the Necropolis of Thebes and view the Colossi of Memnon. Continue to the architecturally stunning Temple of Hatshepsut, ancient Egypt’s first female pharaoh and regarded today as one of its most successful. Carry on to the Valley of the Kings, burial ground of the pharaohs and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For a period of 500 years beginning in the 16th century BC, tombs were built along this valley for pharaohs and nobles, including that of “the boy king,” Tutankhamun, Enter the tomb of Tutankhamun – found in 1922 by British archaeologist and Egyptologist Howard Carter – to discover the secrets of this storied chamber. Next, descend into the beautifully decorated tomb of Seti I, the father of Ramses II, one of the best-preserved tombs in the valley. Back to the Nile Cruse. Enjoy lunch while Sailing to Esna, then Edfu. Enjoy afternoon tea. Evening enjoy a la carte Dinner. Overnight in Edfu. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
Day 6.Temple of Horus, Sail to Kom Ombo, Temple of Haroeris and Sobek, Sail to Aswan
Buffet Breakfast.
After Breakfast, ride a horse carriage to visit the Temple of Horus, falcon-headed god of the sky. back on board. the Executive chef will be welcoming you to join a cooking class. Sail to Kom Ombo. Enjoy Lunch while sailing. Afternoon Tea. Disembark at Kom Ombo and take a short walk along the east edge of the Nile. Visit the Greco-Roman temple dedicated to Haroeris (the sun god) and Sobek (the crocodile god), whom some ancient Egyptians considered the creator of the world. Return on board and Sail to Aswan. Enjoy buffet Dinner followed by a Galabia party in the Lounge. Overnight in Aswan. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
Day 7. Aswan, Optional Tour Abu Simbel Temples of Ramses II, Nefertari, High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk. Majestic Philae Temple, and Aswan Islands
Early Morning, Breakfast Basket, and Transfer to Aswan Airport for a domestic flight to Abu Simbel. and discover the commanding twin temples of Ramses II and his wife, Queen Nefertari. The former’s façade is dominated by four 70-foot-tall statues of the pharaoh. Perhaps even more impressive, this entire site was disassembled and moved here to save it from the floodwaters caused by the construction of the Aswan High Dam. Fly back to Aswan Airport, pickup, and transfer by your Expert Egyptologist to your Luxury Nile Cruise.
Lunch on board. After Lunch, Explore the High Dam passing by the Old Dam of Aswan, and site of the Unfinished Obelisk. Ride a motorized boat to Philae Temple on the island of Agilika. A sacred complex dedicated to the goddess Isis that reflects a fusion of three great civilizations, Egyptian, Greek, and Roman. Ride Like a Local around the Aswan Islands in a felucca (traditional sailboat) and back on board. Enjoy afternoon tea. Enjoy a la carte Dinner followed by a Nubian show in the Lounge bar. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 8. Disembarkation and fly to Cairo

After your final breakfast on board of your Luxury Nile Cruise, disembarking and transfer to Aswan Airport for a domestic flight to Cairo. Meet, assist, pickup, and transfer by your Expert Representative to your Luxury Hotel in Cairo. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Cairo. Meals: Breakfast.
Day 9. Cairo, Memphis, Sakkara, New Discovery Tombs, and Carpet school
Buffet Breakfast.
After Breakfast, join your expert Egyptologist to Visit Memphis, once a vast metropolis and capital of the Old Kingdom, continue to Sakkara, site of hundreds of tombs and 14 pyramids, including the famous Step Pyramid of Djoser. We also visit the New Discovery Tombs of sarcophagi. Enjoy Lunch at a local luxury restaurant. After Lunch, visit a local carpet school and see the Children are taught to read and write and to hand tie beautiful Egyptian carpets. Afternoon at leisure.Overnight in Cairo. Meals: Buffet Breakfast and Lunch.
Day 10. Depart Cairo

After breakfast, transfer to Cairo International airport for final Departure.
