Itinerary
09:00 After picking up from each hotel, we depart downtown, photo.
On board, your English guide will kindly and clearly explain the techniques to help you spend your day more efficiently. You will also receive a park map and tickets. Please note that your trip may be shared with other passengers traveling in the same direction, such as on a Disneyland tour or a San Diego and Tijuana tour.
About two hours’ drive south from Los Angeles is San Diego, the city featured in the Tom Cruise film “Top Gun.” Located in the beautiful Bay Area, we will take you to the ocean-themed San Diego SeaWorld.
11:00 Arrive at SeaWorld. After seeing the group off to the entrance, you will be free to explore the park at your leisure.
This theme park offers a variety of ocean-themed activities for the whole family to enjoy.
[Believe: The Spectacular Shamu Show] A cute yet majestic show featuring five killer whales led by a superstar named Shamu. This show, unparalleled in scale anywhere in the world, is of course the park’s signature attraction. The first 10 rows will be splashed with water by the killer whales, so if you don’t want to get wet, it’s best to sit in the middle or back. The edge of the tank facing the audience is transparent, allowing for a clear view below the surface. Two to three times a day, the show lasts approximately 30 minutes.
[RL Stine’s Haunted Lighthouse 4D] This 4-D attraction adds a tactile experience to the 3-D experience. The story revolves around the legend of a haunted lighthouse, passed down among hunters since ancient times. Audiences embark on an adventure into the haunted lighthouse alongside mischievous children. State-of-the-art special effects and productions provide endless surprises. If you have small children, we recommend reserving seats on the sidelines just in case. Six to seven times a day, duration: approximately 20 minutes.
[DOLPHIN SHOW “Dolphin Discovery”] A comical show featuring five lovable dolphins and a gold whale. While slightly smaller in scale than the Shamu show, the dolphins entertain audiences with their high-jumping, competitive swimming, and swimming around the pool. Two to three times a day, duration: approximately 25 minutes.
[SHIPWRECK RAPIDS] This was SeaWorld’s first ride. As the name suggests, the circular, eight-person boat spins through the tropical rapids, creating a powerful splash. Guests are advised to wear wet clothing. You can tell how wet you’ll get by watching the people exiting the boat. Duration: approximately 6 minutes.
[Cirque de la Mer – Summer show] A summer-only acrobatic show performed on the ocean by members of Cirque du Soleil. The diverse performances, combining music and special effects on the water, are truly an artistic circus of the sea. Experience the Cirque du Soleil show, popular in Japan. The show usually runs from Memorial Day (early May) to Labor Day (early September), but please double-check before attending.
[Journey to Atlantis] A spectacular indoor ocean-themed ride. Journey to Atlantis is a water-based roller coaster. You’ll ride a boat. Water droplets and mist appear at various points. In the second half, you’ll slide down from a height equivalent to an eight-story building onto the water. Be prepared to get wet. Duration: 4 minutes.
[SeaWorld Skyride] A cable car ride over the ocean that connects SeaWorld to the adjacent ocean. SeaWorld is located on the waterfront, using seawater drawn from the ocean and considering the marine animals transported from far away countries. The ocean breeze is pleasant, but a sudden gust can be a bit startling. While the ride may stop on windy days, mornings are usually relatively calm, so we recommend boarding early. While a separate fee (same price for adults and children) is required, it’s a great place to take photos with the magnificent scenery as a backdrop. Pointing your camera north will give you a blue sky. Since the fare is a round-trip, you can get off at the last stop and board again, or you can continue around the ride or ride back and forth without getting off. If you’re also planning to ride the Sky Tower, we recommend a combined ticket that covers both rides. There are no official tickets for either ride, so you’ll need to show your receipt to board, so be careful not to lose it. There is a fee, and the ride lasts approximately 6 minutes.
[Pets Rule!] An animal show featuring dogs, cats, birds, and pigs. The animals show off their special skills, including racing and dancing! Be sure to check out this hilarious show featuring adorable pets. SeaWorld takes in animals that were abandoned and found at animal shelters, showcasing the incredible feats they can perform. Even small children will enjoy the show. There are some wet spots at the front. Four to five rides per day, approximately 15 minutes.
[Shipwreck Rapids] Try the soaking wet ride, “Shipwreck Rapids.” Experience the splashes and rapid turns of the river. Be careful not to get caught in the rapids in the underground cavern. What will become of the nine people aboard this raft-like, tube-like vehicle? Be sure to stop by the Shipwreck Rapids Café next door on your way out.
[Clyde and Seamore’s Risky Rescue] A comedy-inspired show featuring sea lions and sea otters. While the majority of the show features the performances of two sea lions named Slide and Seymour, the sea otters also occasionally appear on stage to entertain the audience. At the end of the show, a large walrus appears, and even when urged to hurry up, it swims slowly, which is quite fascinating. In this show, water also splashes on the front of the audience.
The opening act entertains the audience about 10 minutes before the show starts, so it is also recommended for families with small children. The show is held 4-5 times a day, and lasts about 25 minutes.
